The Absaroka, also known as the Apsáalooke or Crow, are Native Americans living primarily in southern Montana. Their name means "children of the large-beaked bird" which was interpreted as "people of the crow" by the French and English. Tipis are the traditional shelter of the Crow, made with bison hides stretched over wooden poles. The annual Crow Fair is known as largest gathering of tipis in the world.
