In this piece I was thinking of fine moments in my past, how brief they lasted against the incorrigible flow of time. Some of those moments stand out in my mind as if carved from polished diamonds. I string them on a golden thread and wear them close to my heart, like a rosary of unanswered prayers." - Michael
