These kits are based on an original art class taught by Kitty Ordway at Missoula International School in Montana. They inspire children ages 6-12 to craft different wild animals in air-dry modeling clay. Along with step-by-step instructions, there are photographs of each animal in its natural habitat and interesting facts about each animal's life.

By offering an array of examples and showcasing different styles, these kits encourage children to develop their own artistic approach while learning about the wild animals that call Montana home. The process of crafting clay animals is fun and educational! The finished dried clay animals are works of art that double as toys for creative play.
